Description
The panel or cylindrical air filter, often known as a replacement air filter, is designed to fit directly into the vehicle’s original airbox, serving as an upgrade over the factory-installed OEM filter.
Made with high-performance materials, this filter allows a greater volume of air to reach the engine, while offering superior filtration by capturing particles as small as 7 microns, compared to the 10-micron capacity of standard OEM filters.
In controlled tests conducted at 25°C temperature, 25% humidity, and 1020 bar pressure, the BMC air filter demonstrated enhanced airflow over traditional paper filters, even when installed in the standard OEM airbox. (Note: This airflow comparison is for illustrative purposes and may not apply to all models.)
BMC utilizes a Full Moulding process, crafting the filter in one solid piece without joints. This not only increases durability but also reduces the chances of cracks or damage over time.
The rubber sealing used in BMC filters is highly flexible, long-lasting, and adheres securely to various airbox shapes for a tight, leak-free fit.
The filtering media is composed of multiple layers of cotton gauze, lightly oiled for efficiency, and protected by an epoxy-coated aluminum mesh to prevent corrosion from fuel vapors or moisture in the air.
Every BMC air filter is pre-oiled and ready to use, and when cleaning is required, it can be easily washed and restored using the recommended BMC regeneration kit.
